Peter Morris, President of Mind-Set Training and Vice-president of Performance Plus, has a firm belief that people "can do" and "can be" whatever they put their mind to. With more than 30 years in the business world, Peter has succeeded in sales, as an entrepreneur in small business and in the management ranks of the competitive insurance environment.

Peter brings a creative and humourous touch to projects, programs and presentations. In addition to being an "idea person" himself, Peter has a reputation for turning other's "B" ideas into ideas that are "A+".

In addition to his successful sales background, Peter has also been Marketing Manager for one of Canada's leading multi-line insurance corporations.

Peter has had a variety of national responsibilities, including; recruiting and training Sales Representatives; development and implementation of national sales campaigns and sales incentive/recognition programs; developing award winning marketing and sales support material; implementing national training programs; leadership in the development of corporate image and brand management programs; development and implementation of national advertising; promotion and other strategic marketing programs; negotiations for external marketing partnerships and client communication and staff communications.

In addition to success in the corporate world, Peter has also experienced success as a business entrepreneur. For 12 years Peter was a partner in a wholesale/retail operation utilizing the very successful sales techniques that he now shares with others.

Peter's wide variety of satisfied clients include leading insurance/financial companies, software development companies, industrial/retail companies, government operations, human resource companies, accounting firms and many more. Peter has been a keynote speaker on marketing, customer service and training issues at company meetings and industry conferences throughout North America.

Peter's passion to help sales and service people and corporations be the best they can be, his desire to develop and implement effective marketing programs, his creative flair and his training and motivational skills have come together in his positive approach to sales and service training.
